Bullivant Bowl

The final of the Bullivant Bowl took place on a very showery afternoon at North Middlesex today, following the Middlesex Tigers Final and the East/West Sabres final that our team narrowly missed out on a few weeks ago.

There were three finals being played during the afternoon and the three Sabres matches were the last out meaning that with the very overcast skies it could get tricky if any matches went the full distance, and so it proved as the first two matches were a win and a loss leaving the last match to decide the tie.

Or final pair of Alex and Dan had got their noses in front to be  2 up at the turn and then had a run of losing and winning holes until they were 2 up after 16 playing in very gloomy conditions. However a solid drive and approach from Alex meant the opposition needed to hole out from around 20 feet but were unable to do so leaving Alex a simple two putt from around 12 feet for the win. Never in doubt and a win for the team 2-1

Enfield last won this trophy in 2004!
